Fresh, ripe strawberries and dried florals open in the glass. Potpourri, herbal tones, and fresh red fruits round out the nose. Mouth is full and bright with a nice balance between fruit, acid, and earth tones. Fresh acidity cleanses the palate, as red fruit and florals charm the senses. Finish is fresh and bright with a clear, focused finish.
Niagara-sourced fruit was destemmed and cold soaked for 12 hours, PEC-sourced fruit was whole cluster pressed. Fermented in 100% stainless steel for 14+ days at 16 C. No malolactic fermentation.
Serve with pizza, grilled stuffed peppers, and charcuterie.
