2008 K.W. Pinot Noir

Alcohol content: 12.8%

Flattering nose with red cherry up front, a little spice and some floral notes. Mouth starts out fruity and fresh, building intensity as it goes. Fine, lip-smacking finish with a little orange peel and a fair bit of baking spices, fine tannins and well-balanced acidity providing structure. A good demonstration that the 2008 vintage yielded some very fine reds with many good years ahead of them.
