About UsIn 1998, a small group of friends with a shared passion for fine wine had a serendipitous meeting with viticulturist Deborah Paskus. Deborah was already well recognized in winemaking circles for her magnificent Temken Paskus Chardonnay, a wine much praised by reviewers at home and abroad. Inspired by Deborah—who led us like a pied piper toward the virtually undiscovered region of Prince Edward County—the group quickly embraced the bold idea of making world class wine in a new place. That single meeting quickly led to something special: Closson Chase. |
